As a Senior Financial Control Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and analysis while partnering with leaders across the organization. Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review standard and non-standard journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables.
- Analyze financial results, identify variances and trends, and provide meaningful commentary to stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, footnotes, and other internal and external reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance data management, and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support special projects, mentor junior team members, and share best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial analysis, or a related finance function.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience preparing financial statements, regulatory filings, or complex account reconciliations.
- Background in financial services, insurance, or a highly regulated industry.
- Experience driving process improvement or automation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to provide financial insights and reporting commentary to business stakeholders.
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
