RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is located in the stunning Shark Bay World Heritage Area, alongside the picturesque Francois Peron National Park. Famous for the friendly dolphins that visit the bay daily, this unique beachfront destination offers an unforgettable lifestyle and work experience in one of Western Australia's most iconic tourism locations.

We are currently looking for a casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team! This role is perfect for someone looking to live and work in a breathtaking coastal location, with on-site accommodation available for a minimal charge.

Join our close-knit team and play a key role in ensuring our resort grounds, facilities, and amenities are maintained to the highest standard, helping create memorable experiences for our guests every day.

What will you be doing?

  • Undertake general gardening, groundskeeping and maintenance work across the resort.
  • Maintain accommodation, caravan and camping grounds, guest amenities, camp kitchens, swimming pool and public areas.
  • Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance to resort facilities and equipment.
  • Assist guests with requests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure grounds and facilities are presented to a high standard.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Previous experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, landscaping, carpentry or a similar role.
  • Strong practical and handyman skills.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and as part of a team.
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence essential.
  • HR Truck Licence highly regarded.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
