Job Summary:

Job Summary: This position will provide assistance to instructors teaching on-campus (and possibly online) courses.

Job Duties: A teaching assistant may be asked to complete any of the following job duties:

Assist with attendance reporting.

Assess completion of online quizzes.

Review and assess assignments using a rubric designed by the instructor.

Communicate with primary instructor about issues/concerns associated with a student’s assignment or lack of completion.

Maintain confidentiality of ALL student materials.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge of HHP Curriculum including HLTH 264 and HLTH 265.

Enrolled at half-time status at UW-Superior.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with Canvas.

Approximate Hours/Week: 5-10

Pay Rate: $11/hour
