About the role

We’re looking for an experienced HR Crane Truck Driver to join our team in Keysborough, VIC, delivering and collecting aluminium scaffold across residential building sites throughout Melbourne.

This is a casual position, working Monday to Friday with early starts. We’re looking for someone with an average availability of up to 40–50 hours per week, depending on operational requirements and our project pipeline.

Load and unload trucks, ensuring all required equipment is loaded and loads are secured to load-restraint standards

Deliver and collect aluminium scaffold across metro Melbourne

Operate a vehicle loading crane to safely unload equipment on site

Plan every lift around exclusion zones, powerlines, parked cars, pedestrians and changing site conditions

Maintain exclusion zones and follow safe lifting practices, including no lifting over vehicles

Complete daily pre-starts and report any defects

Maintain accurate delivery, collection and truck maintenance records

Work closely with builders, site supervisors and Buildsafe scaffold crews

About you

Minimum Requirements:

HR Driver Licence – essential

  • Current
  • CV High Risk Work Licence – vehicle loading crane 10 metre-tonnes and above (TLILIC0024) – essential

2+ years crane truck / HIAB experience

Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Full Australian working rights

Clean driving record

Strong understanding of load restraint and safe lifting

Confident establishing and maintaining exclusion zones

Willing to work Monday to Friday with early starts and an average availability of up to 40–50 hours per week

Comfortable working across residential construction sites and in a fast-paced environment

It’s a bonus if you have:

Forklift Licence

$40–$45 per hour + super + OT
