This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way Raleigh, NC 27607-- Wake County , with the Department of Health and Human Services - MH - Mental Health .
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $ 44.23 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

Job duties include, but may not be limited to:
This position’s primary purpose is to lead the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Services in addressing the mental health, substance use, and justice involved needs of families.
This position will lead the redesign of the child residential continuum of care and directs cross divisional efforts to strengthen community-based alternatives to residential treatment while improving residential treatment statewide.
The position plays a central role in statewide strategies to reduce emergency department (ED) boarding and DSS youth boarding by advancing early intervention, crisis diversion, and timely access to outpatient and community-based services.
Minimum Education and Experience

Master's degree in the area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in a closely related program; or Bachelor's degree in the area of assignment field from an appropriately accredited institution and five years of experience in a closely related program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
