Industrial Mechanic

Sierra Processing, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a safety conscious Industrial Mechanic to join the team at our recycling plant in Albany, NY

Hourly Rate: $25-$28/ hour based on experience

Shift :10:30A-8:00P

Schedule : Mon-Fri / 50-55 hours per week.

Typical job duties include:

• •Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems on MVR equipment such as conveyors, paper and cardboard screen, ballistic screen, optical screen, balers, and others.
• •Will power wash heavy equipment during routine preventative maintenance .
• •Complete required paperwork utilizing equipment maintenance software program.
• •Reviews and completes repairs identified on Daily Inspection Reports.
• •Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• •Performs services calls for emergency breakdowns that may take place in the MRF.
• •Other duties as assigned
