Role Overview
The Interior Sales Manager will be responsible for converting qualified leads into confirmed interior projects while delivering an excellent client experience throughout the sales process.
The role involves meeting clients at their properties and Vaastukalpaa's Experience Centre , understanding their requirements, presenting design and commercial solutions, preparing quotations, negotiating effectively, following up consistently, and closing projects within the company's pricing and profitability guidelines.
The ideal candidate should be confident, persuasive, target-oriented, professionally presented, and comfortable dealing with homeowners, architects, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Conversion
Connect with and respond to all assigned leads generated through company marketing and other channels.
Understand the client's requirements, budget, property details, timeline, and expectations.
Qualify leads based on project potential, budget, decision-making authority, and purchase timeline.
Maintain systematic follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, email, and client meetings.
Ensure no qualified lead is left unattended or without a scheduled next action.
Maintain accurate lead status and sales pipeline information in the company's CRM/system.
2. Client Meetings & Consultations
Conduct professional client meetings at the Vaastukalpaa Experience Centre and project sites.
Visit client properties when required to understand the site, dimensions, scope, and project requirements.
Build strong relationships with clients and understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, aesthetic preferences, and budget.
Explain the company's design process, materials, specifications, warranties, timelines, and commercial terms.
Present Vaastukalpaa's value proposition confidently and professionally.
3. Sales Presentation & Proposal Management
Coordinate with the design and estimation teams to develop appropriate solutions for clients.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, BOQs, and commercial offers.
Explain pricing, material specifications, scope of work, exclusions, timelines, and payment schedules clearly.
Conduct proposal presentations and address client questions and objections.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant interior solutions.
4. Negotiation & Closing
Handle price negotiations while protecting company margins and commercial interests.
Address client objections related to price, design, materials, timelines, competitors, and scope.
Create urgency and move prospects through the sales funnel.
Follow up on proposals until closure.
Convert qualified opportunities into confirmed projects and achieve monthly sales targets.
Ensure all commitments made to clients are aligned with company policies and operational feasibility.
5. Sales Coordination
Coordinate closely with Design, Estimation, Procurement, Project Management, and Accounts teams.
Ensure a smooth transition from sales closure to project execution.
Communicate confirmed client requirements accurately to the internal team.
Participate in pre-handover discussions wherever required.
Ensure there is no gap between what has been promised during sales and what can be delivered by the execution team.
6. Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Generate referrals and repeat business through excellent client experience.
Develop relationships with architects, contractors, builders, brokers, and other potential lead sources.
Explore opportunities for channel and referral-based business.
7. Sales Reporting & Performance
Maintain daily and weekly sales activity reports.
Track lead status, meetings, proposals, follow-ups, conversions, and lost opportunities.
Monitor personal sales funnel and maintain sufficient pipeline to achieve targets.
Participate in sales review meetings.
Provide market feedback regarding competitor pricing, customer preferences, and emerging trends.

Monthly sales/revenue achievement
Lead-to-meeting conversion
Meeting-to-proposal conversion
Proposal-to-booking conversion
Overall lead conversion rate
Number and quality of client meetings
Follow-up effectiveness
Average project value
Gross margin adherence
Referral and repeat business
CRM/data accuracy
Client satisfaction
Timely handover of confirmed projects to the execution team
Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Relevant sales experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Experience
3–7 years of sales experience , preferably in:
Interior design
Home interiors
Modular kitchens
Furniture
Real estate
Building materials
Architecture/design
Premium residential products/services
Candidates with proven experience in B2C sales and high-value consultative selling will be preferred.

Must maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
