Job Description:
Coordinates pre-transplant evaluations and assessments.
Manages the transplant waiting list and patient status updates.
Facilitates communication between patients, families, and the transplant team.
Organizes and schedules transplant surgeries and related procedures.
Provides education and support to patients and families throughout the transplant process.
Monitors post-transplant recovery and follow‑ up care.
Manages donor organ procurement and transportation logistics.
Communicates the schedule for stem cell collections/harvest with the dialysis department.
Coordinates with the blood bank to facilitate designated donor and pheresis blood products for the patient.
Coordinates pre‑ and post ‑ bone marrow transplant evaluations for the patient and donor, when applicable.
Develops and implements policies and procedures related to transplant coordination.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong assessment skills [Preferred]

Ability to work independently as well as within a team-environment [Preferred]

Education:
- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Field of Study:
- N/A
- Work Experience:
- 1+ year leadership experience [Required]
- 1+ year of transplant, critical care [Required]
- Critical care experience or palliative care of patients with life-limiting or life-threatening illness [Preferred]
- Teaching/preceptor experience [Preferred]
- Transplant care experience [Preferred]
- Additional Information:
- Additional Licensure or certification requirements may apply depending on the specific unit or state in which this position is located. Please consult the relevant credential grid for detailed information regarding these requirements.

Pay Range:
- $72,904.00 - $135,595.20
- Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
