Job Description:

• Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. • Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry.

What to Expect

Schedule: Days 5am-130pm and rotates weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

Base wage: $16.45 / hour - $17.15 / hour

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to:

• •Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• •Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• •Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• •Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
• •High School or GED required
• •No Experience Required
