Job Summary

At Rivia Mind, providers are part of an approachable, supportive, multidisciplinary clinical community , with dedicated administrative teams helping manage the operational side of care so you can focus on patient care, clinical collaboration, and continued growth.

Weekly 1:1 Supervision: Dedicated individualized support, consultation, and professional development

Administrative & Operational Support: Dedicated teams help manage the operational aspects of care, allowing providers to focus on their clinical work

Comprehensive Onboarding: Structured orientation to clinical standards, care processes, systems, and role-specific practices

Clinical Community: Be part of a multidisciplinary environment built around consultation, connection, and shared learning.

Weekly Group Supervision: Case consultation, peer discussion, knowledge sharing, and clinical guidance

Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Access to psychotherapy and psychiatric colleagues for consultation and coordinated care

Peer Community: Connect, collaborate, and learn from providers across disciplines and experience levels

Continued Growth: Continue developing your clinical knowledge, interests, and expertise throughout your time at Rivia.

Work Location: Montclair, NJ Office - Hybrid 1 day in office, Monday or Tuesday

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles

Service and maintain weekly patient sessions across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare

Maintain a consistent weekly patient care schedule in alignment with Rivia Mind’s standard productivity expectations.

Follow Care Model practices that emphasize continuity of care, high-frequency follow-up appointments, and effective calendar management.

Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans

Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)

Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment

Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes

Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems

Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation

Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals' well-being, self-improvement, and potential

Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Active New Jersey State License (LCSW)

Certifications in specific modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) are a plus.

  • Education Details: Master's in Social Work

At least one (1) year of experience practicing Psychotherapy

Additional Language Fluency is a plus

Experience or desire to work with Couples is a plus

Multi-Disciplinary Teamwork

Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)

Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Compensation & Employment Details

  • At Rivia Mind, compensation is only one part of the employee experience. Our Total Rewards approach includes thoughtfully designed pay aligned with our business, roles, and markets, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, retirement support, professional development, wellbeing resources, and programs that recognize your contributions and support your growth—professionally and personally.
  • Pay Range: $80,000 - $92,500
  • Pay Type: Salary
  • Our compensation package includes a base salary based on compensable factors. Additionally, clinicians are eligible for quarterly bonuses of up to $1,000 (up to $4,000 annually), awarded based on defined metrics related to clinical excellence and care model performance.

​​ Work Schedule

We work with each provider to establish a consistent, sustainable schedule that balances patient needs with provider preferences. Your recurring schedule will be agreed upon before your start date.

Scheduling is available Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM–9:00 PM and Saturday between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.

Schedules must include at least 4 cumulative hours after 5:00 PM on week
