Summary
About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital on Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
- Responsible for the support of Hearing Readiness, annual, pre-deployment, post deployment and in/out processing.
- Coordinate, schedule, and provide instruction for the Hearing Program technician certification training workshops (in person and online).
- Order and maintain equipment and supplies to support all Army Hearing Department section operations.
- Support Auditory Studies and Investigations to include but not limited to equipment prep, shipping, site setup, measurement, data collection, data entry and recovery.
- Maintain and is the primary functional account manager for Army Hearing Program technician certification users’ accounts.
Qualifications

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience conducting audiometric surveillance on a patients; utilizing Audiology equipment, and training audiology staff. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
