Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the founding Schools of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The school is renowned for its academic and research excellence and has more than 120 faculty members and over 6,000 students, including approximately 3,000 graduate students.
We invite applications for the position of Lead, Lifelong Learning (Academic) in the Associate Chair, Graduate (Lifelong Learning), MSc Programme Office. Reporting to the Head, Strategy and Lifelong Learning, the incumbent will work closely with the Head, Strategy and Lifelong Learning, Associate Chair, Graduate (Lifelong Learning), and Assistant Chair (Lifelong Learning) to support the strategic development, administration and effective delivery of its MSc programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to support the growth, development and positioning of the School’s MSc programmes.
- Lead and coordinate curriculum reviews, examinations and academic governance matters, including Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) and related agreements with partner universities.
- Oversee and coordinate key administrative, financial and operational functions across the MSc programmes to ensure effective programme delivery.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence through streamlining, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strengthen student experience by overseeing academic and wellbeing support, and ensuring enquiries and appeals are managed in a timely, consistent and equitable manner.
- Leverage data and insights to support programme planning, performance monitoring and management decision-making.
- Lead and support other strategic and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by the school.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a postgraduate degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education, programme administration, operations, student services, recruitment, or admissions.
- Strong strategic, operational, project management and analytical capabilities.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated ability to perform data analysis, reporting and data-driven insights.
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate and other data visualization or process automation tools would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Knowledge of the higher education landscape and university administration would be an advantage.
