We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Learning & Development Project Specialist to join our People team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Learning , you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of learning solutions that support technology initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess learning needs and create effective learning solutions, including eLearning, video, virtual, and face-to-face instructor-led sessions.

You will be responsible for:

• •Leading end-to-end learning solutions for technology transformation projects, ensuring learning deliverables are aligned with project timelines and business goals.
• •Conducting learning needs analysis for technology initiatives by partnering with internal and external stakeholders and SMEs to identify learner needs, gaps, and appropriate learning solutions.
• •Providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders and SMEs on learning requirements, timelines, risks, and implementation to support successful outcomes.
• •Applying current instructional design and adult learning principles, theories, and best practices to develop engaging learning activities and course content that enhances retention and transfer.
• •Facilitating training as required.
• •Applying technical expertise to the design, development, and maintenance of multimedia learning solutions that are timely, engaging, and interactive for adult learners.
• •Using multimedia instructional design and technical expertise to design, develop and/or author online courses (including SCORM/AICC requirements) and learning resources (e.g., manuals and job aids).
• •Devising assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of learning.
• •Remaining current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in learning and eLearning solutions.

You have:

• •A Provincial Instructor’s Diploma (PIDP), Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP), or Adult Education certification.
• •5 years of experience of designing and developing learning solutions, preferably in support of technology implementations or large-scale change initiatives within a retail or customer-focused environment.
• •Project Management certification is considered an asset.
• •Proven experience in instructional design and instructional technology.
• •Solid knowledge of eLearning authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and screen recording platforms such as datango, Snagit, or Camtasia.
• •Visual design skills using programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
• •Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.

Compensation Details:

$85,062.00 - $106,328.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
