Linklaters is looking for an outstanding Italian law student in their final years of university (laureando/a) to join its Milan-based team for a four-month internship in the Public Law practice of the Milan office from October 2026 .

Linklaters’ pan-European expertise is long-standing in all fields of regulatory, administrative and environmental law aspects, including State aid , public procurement as well as urban planning . Particular fields of expertise include energy (renewables and emissions trading issues), defence, infrastructure , utilities , telecommunications and real estate . Our specialists are involved in major innovative and complex transactions, advising corporates, commercial banks, public funded entities, local authorities and national governments.

Key responsibilities will include:

legal research and analysis

assisting in the preparation of memos and document review

supporting in drafting court documents and other legal documentation

Key requirements :

Law degree (currently enrolled in the fifth year);

Excellent academic credentials from an Italian University ( please include the list of exams together with a motivation letter );

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

Proficiency level in English;

Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
