Locum Adult Social Worker, Forensic Learning Disability / Mental Health Social Work Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult's Social Worker to join its client’s Forensic Learning Disability / Mental Health team, based in Middlesbrough.

What will your responsibilities be?

Managed a complex caseload of adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and offending histories, undertaking Care Act assessments, support planning and risk management to promote positive outcomes and independence.

Completed Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interest decisions and Section 117 aftercare reviews, supporting safe discharge and transition from secure hospitals and inpatient settings into the community.

Worked collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with psychology, psychiatry, nursing and criminal justice professionals to safeguard vulnerable adults, manage risk and deliver person-centred interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have;

Social Work England registration

Eligible to work in the UK

Hold a full UK driving licence

Post-qualified experience

Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
