LPN Medication Nurse -Skilled (7A-7P)

Description

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-star-rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA, is seeking n LPN Medication Nurse to join our team! Full-time, day shift (7A-7P) position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with match, and more.

• •Prepares, administers, and records prescribed medications as administered.
• •Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner.
• •Administers medications, treatments, IV's, catheters, and obtains blood samples as necessary.
• •Evaluates nursing care with emphasis on medication administration, prescribed treatments, and patient responses; consults with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients.
• •Reports adverse reactions of medications and/or treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• •Provides bedside care for a wide variety of patients.
• •Participates in discharge planning as needed.

Requirements

• •A valid unencumbered Virginia LPN license
• •Two to three years of experience working in a skilled setting preferred
