Shift: 4:30 PM- 5:00 AM

Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday/Sunday

Job Description:

• •Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• •Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction.
• •Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
• •Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handles emergencies.
• •Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• •Complete appropriate paperwork and reports
• •Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
• •Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• •Able to perform diagnoses and repairs without supervision.
• •Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision
• •Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.
• •Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid.
• •The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds.
• •Lifting will also be required, and depending on the department could be up to 70lbs.
