Summary

You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFACSYSCOM), of NAVAL FAC ENGR CMD EUROPE SW ASIA, Capodichino, Italy.

Duties

  • You will coordinate the collection of monthly financial information through coordination of Product Line Commodity Managers and Analysts.
  • You will prepare text, graphs, charts and management statistics to clearly, concisely and effectively express information contained in oral and written presentations comparing status against planned performance.
  • You will identify trends in business process and staffing performance and provide consulting services to the four Public Works Product Lines.
  • You will perform special business analysis assignments to develop complex business processes which integrate work flow, funding receipt, data entry and retrieval and personnel tracking.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Providing technical expertise and program analysis support in multiple areas (i.e. resource requirements, financial execution, performance metrics, work flow processes, community management, etc.); 2) Developing and implementing policy for assigned programs; 3) Analyzing programs to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency and/ or proposing solutions to identified problems; 4) Utilizing electronics databases (i.e. Business Management System, Total Workforce Management Services, Maximo, etc.) to identify trends in the workplace. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONTINUED: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work requires some physical exertion, such as walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces of the type found at construction sites or other outdoor facilities that may be visited on a regular and recurring basis. Some agility is required in walking around or over building materials, excavation sites, and heavy equipment. The incumbent may be required to participate in intensive negotiations or work sessions for extended periods of time (i.e. four hours or longer without rest periods) and occasionally late in the evening and on weekends. Requires specific, but common physical characteristics and abilities such as above average resistance to fatigue. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work may involve moderate risks or discomforts on a regular and recurring basis, which require special safety precautions, e.g. visiting working job sites, or test environments where hazards are present such as machines, moving equipment, chemicals, noise, or vibrations. The employee may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, gowns, coats, boots, hardhats, steel toe shoes, goggles, gloves, or shields.
