Manager Engineering Site Project Lead

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• •Manage assigned capital projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery while meeting customer and business requirements.
• •Provide leadership for planning, development, and tracking of the annual capital spending plan for the assigned site.
• •Integrate cost reduction initiatives and best project management practices into all capital projects.
• •Ensure compliance with Global Engineering standards, policies, procedures, and FDA regulations for facility, process, and equipment design.
• •Provide engineering input into long-range planning for key products, processes, and manufacturing initiatives.
• •Identify skill gaps within the project management team and develop recruitment or training plans to address them.
• •Collaborate with procurement on capital equipment orders, including techno-commercial bid analysis and recommendations.
• •Manage Capex cash flow, monitor spending and forecasts, and prepare monthly reporting, annual operating plans, and long-range capital project plans.
• •Finalize Capital Expenditure Requests (CER) and obtain Global approvals for project execution.
• •Implement and enforce all safety guidelines and EHS compliance requirements across the department and contractor operations, including HR compliance.
• •Ensure local and global EHS KPIs are met and conduct Safety GEMBA walks.
• •Maintain Emergency Response Team (ERT) and first aid readiness, participate in risk assessments, and implement recommendations.
