 The Role and What You’ll Do:
PBR Teams is the exciting latest vertical under the PBR. Its goal is to drive revenue, marketing, innovation and best practices across all PBR Teams. Entering its 5th season, PBR just announced the second round of expansion, bringing on 2 new teams in 2027.
The Manager, PBR Teams Service supports the execution and day-to-day delivery of the league’s Teams Service strategy, helping the organization drive Teams fan growth, engagement, and local market success.
Working within the central Marketing organization, this role partners closely with the Senior Director, PBR Teams Service to operationalize strategic frameworks into actionable tools, programs, and support for team organizations. The Manager serves as a key point of contact for teams, ensuring they have access to the resources, insights, and best practices needed to effectively execute in their local markets.
This is an execution and enablement role, focused on supporting teams through consistent communication, practical solutions, and proactive service, while coordinating with Brand & Marketing, Ticketing, Live Events, Corporate Partnerships, Media, and other cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and ease of execution.
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned PBR Teams, building strong working relationships with Team marketing and business staff.
- Support regular communication cadences with Teams, including check-ins, planning sessions, and ongoing service touchpoints.
- Act as a responsive, solutions-oriented partner, helping Teams navigate needs and connect with appropriate league resources.
- Support the rollout and execution of Teams Service initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and operating model.
- Assist in implementing fan development programs, engagement initiatives, and league-wide campaigns at the team level.
- Help coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication across teams and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Team-facing toolkits, templates, and playbooks.
- Ensure Teams have easy access to clear, practical resources that support local execution.
- Gather feedback from teams on tools and resources to continuously improve usability and effectiveness.
- Support Team adoption of fan development strategies, including community, grassroots, and engagement initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to enhance fan acquisition, retention, and in-market activation efforts.
- Share best practices and examples across teams to elevate performance and consistency.
- Track key performance indicators related to fan growth, engagement, and market performance.
- Provide regular updates and summaries to the Senior Director, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities across teams.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams (Brand & Marketing, Live Events, Ticketing, Corporate Partnerships, Media, Operations) to support Team needs and initiative execution.
- Help ensure teams can efficiently access league resources and information.
- Support alignment between league-level strategy and team-level implementation.
- Document processes, workflows, and best practices to improve consistency and scalability.
- Identify opportunities to enhance Teams Service delivery and team experience.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with a strong customer-service approach.
- Understanding of marketing, fan engagement, and local market dynamics.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-aware with the ability to interpret basic performance metrics and insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for sports, live events, and fan engagement.
You Have These:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field) or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in sports, live events, marketing, or related fields.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, teams, or markets preferred.
- Experience in project coordination, marketing support, or client/service roles is a plus.
- Position located in Fort Worth, TX
- Minimum four days in office required, when not traveling to events.
- Travel required 25-40% of live events.
- Extended hours, weekends, and holidays will be necessary.
