The Manager, Strategic Sourcing will support the company’s procurement function. The overall responsibilities include managing initiatives and processes to deliver optimal value in support of delivering annual savings through cohesive category strategies. Scope of function will cover both strategic development as well as tactical support.

In alignment with our Finance vision, this position will support the transformation of care for the neediest populations by systematically developing business focused finance talent who generate and use information to drive great decisions, optimize performance and ensure accountability through transparency, actionable insights and education. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the strategic planning process for procurement of goods and services. Process include s the definition of requirements, supply market assessment, supplier evaluation, sourcing events, initial selection, negotiation, contracting, and supplier management. Executes medium- and long-term strategies and plans to achieve objectives.

Leads in the management of the Strategic Sourcing Program which includes Category Management with a specific emphasis on : Clinical Products and Services, Pharmacy, Professional Services, Contingent Labor, Capital Equipment, Marketing, IT & Telecommunication Services. Reviews and evaluates the performance of the program and recommends (and executes when required) necessary changes to ensure cost effectiveness, consistency of quality and service levels of the goods and services.

Ensures the organization maintains a competitive position, profitability, and compliance by effectively managing and continuously improving the indirect procurement program and processes.

Collaborates with center operations and vendors to ensure proper inventory levels, report inventory utilization, and manage inventory controls .

Collaborates with internal stakeholders and business partners to execute and negotiate high quality sourcing events (i.e., RFP-Request for Proposal, RFI-Request for Information) to satisfy business requirements.

Responsible for developing best practice sourcing methodologies select ing the optimum supplier(s), negotiat ing and contract ing for the most cost-effective business arrangement.

Provides leadership and support in a consultative manner to execute procurement processes including sourcing strategy, negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance/relationship management.

Perform s complex data and spend analysis, develop s reports, monitor s expenditures, and help s to identify new sourcing strategies and other cost optimization opportunities in order to generate cost savings and improvements for the organization.

Provides supplier performance analysis, ensuring customer and contractual requirements for cost, quality and service levels are met.

Instills a competitive environment through developing and maintaining supplier relationships taking regulatory, compliance and Corporate direction into account.

Ensures k nowledge transfer and support throughout the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) end-to-end process.

Manages and directs the efforts of his/her team and is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, managing performance, developing and engaging personnel, in order to maintain a skilled and productive workforce to meet or exceed ChenMed’s business goals.

Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

Ability to lead projects and collaborate with functional leads throughout the organization

Solid understanding of financial statement analysis, statistical analysis, corporate finance, and financial modeling, required

Ability to use good judgment, understand complex business situations, work with ambiguity, be a creative thinker, be a self-starter, and have attention to detail

Ability to use discretion under a variety of circumstances and when using confidential information

Strong financial modeling and presentation skills

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet ti ght deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database software

Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10 % of the time

Spoken and written fluency in English

This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

Bachelor's degree ; e xperience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis above the minimum experience required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred; CPA or MBA preferred.

Minimum five (5) years of related experience



 PAY RANGE:

$91,165 - $130,235 Salary The posted pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for this position. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for a bonuses or commissions.
