Role Definition

Assists with technical analysis of manufacturing processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assembly and testing processes for SEM axles and TTT Final Drive.

Support the implementation of the Drivetrain Assembly modern manufacturing strategy by promoting the application of advanced tightening technology, AI-based error proofing, Pick-by-Light, and automation projects in SEM axle and TTT Final Drive assembly operations.

Support NPI project activities by ensuring adequate assembly process readiness during new product introduction and enabling smooth project execution.

Lead the development of assembly and testing processes and provide daily technical support, including SWS/SWES, APQP, SFMEA, fixtures, lifting devices, and related activities.

Drive improvements in productivity, quality, and cost by identifying opportunities in the assembly process and implementing corresponding improvement actions.

Describes functional areas in a manufacturing facility.

Describes the roles and responsibilities of manufacturing areas and staff.

Identifies major phases and activities associated with a manufacturing cycle.

Obtains and interprets high-level manufacturing flow and documentation.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Level Basic Understanding:

Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving.

Describes problem reporting and escalation practices.

Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution.

Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
