As a Module Equipment Technician, you will be directly involved in maintaining and optimizing advanced manufacturing equipment critical to semiconductor production. Your role will encompass hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and calibration of electromechanical systems, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your day-to-day contributions will help drive efficiency and innovation in Intel's manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• •Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• •Execute setup, calibration, corrective and preventive maintenance on critical manufacturing equipment, including wet chemistry, plating, and high-vacuum toolsets.
• •Monitor tool performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• •Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• •Document maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage in accordance with established procedures.
• •Lead or contribute to projects aimed at continuous improvement, focusing on equipment optimization and yield enhancements.
• •Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including wearing full cleanroom attire and maintaining safety standards.

Shift Hours: Employees working Shift 5 (Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days) start their shift at 6:00 AM and finish at 6:15 PM

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job, and/or internship experiences. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Minimum Qualifications

• •Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
• •BS STEM related to Semi. Mfg (MET)/ BS STEM (operator)
• •Associate degree STEM Related to semi. Mfg.(MET)/STEM (operator) AND 2+ years related equip maintenance exp.
• •HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 4+ years related hands on experience OR military technical experience
• •HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 2.5+ years in related equip maintenance experience
• •HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 3+ year Technical/trade certification OR 3+ years technical experience

• •This position requires:
• •Lift 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average)
• •Climb and perform work on ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average)
• •Standing and walking for up to 80% of the workday.

Preferred Qualifications:

• •1+ years of experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of electromechanical equipment in semiconductor manufacturing.
• •Familiarity with wet chemistry, plating, and/or high-vacuum equipment in manufacturing or research environments.
• •Proficiency with measuring devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
• •Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• •Experience with tools such as torque wrenches and other standard hand tools for equipment repair.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $51,710.00-99,770.00 USD (Hourly Role)

Our standard technician starting rates are based on your location and shift schedule.
