Summary

You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MACHANIC SUPERVISOR in the PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Duties

• •You will plan the division of workload among subordinate employees.
• •You will coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• •You will determine what materials and equipment will be needed and arrange for their requisition and required services from other shops.
• •You will supervise work that includes installation, troubleshooting, modifying and repair on various mechanical systems and components.
• •You will inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure quality control, efficiency and safety operations.
• •You will resolve working problems and take necessary corrective action to overcome delays.
• •You will enforce command safety and programs and advise on the use of safety equipment.
• •You will be responsible for training of subordinates in work methods, procedures and the proper use of tolls and equipment.
