We have a great opportunity for you as a Marketing Assistant at CUSB Bank!
Position Summary
Bring your organizational talents and can-do attitude to a role where no two days are the same. As a Marketing Assistant, you will take an active role in planning and coordinating CUSB Bank events for customers, employees, and local communities. You will manage timelines, logistics, supplies, vendors, and event details while also contributing to digital content, social media, video projects, and other marketing initiatives. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to jump in, take responsibility, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.
Event Coordination & Culture Engagement
· Coordinate customer, community, and employee events, including venues, food, entertainment, schedules, supplies, and event photography.
· Support branch events, marketing campaigns, community activities, and customer-retention initiatives.
· Maintain the Bank’s grill schedule and coordinate grilling events.
· Lead the Employee Smart Squad Committee in planning activities that support a positive workplace culture.
· Assist with branded apparel selections and the research and ordering of promotional items.
Digital Content & Social Media
· Create and schedule social media posts, monitor reviews and comments, and help respond in a timely, professional manner.
· Assist with digital campaigns across social media, email, and other online platforms to build awareness and engagement.
· Create and distribute Documatix emails and support website updates.
· Post job openings, new hires, and employee anniversaries on social media.
· Work with the Marketing Manager and bank employees to create product and informational materials across multiple platforms.
· Serve on the CUSB Social Media Committee.
Video & Audio Production
· Plan, record, edit, and publish video content for brand awareness, product promotion, and employee training.
· Operate video production equipment and editing software to produce polished, engaging content.
· Record and produce monthly radio advertisements and distribute them to media contacts.
· Maintain the online prop and costume library used for content production.
Departmental & VIP Connection Support
· Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Marketing Department.
· Help keep marketing projects, supplies, schedules, and requests organized and moving forward.
· Attend Marketing Committee meetings and serve as backup for donation requests.
· Provide administrative and travel support to VIP Connection as needed.
· Help ensure department activities continue smoothly and efficiently during team member absences.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
3. Creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable completing hands-on tasks from planning through execution.
4. Strong written, verbal, customer-service, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively, follow through on commitments, solve problems, exercise sound judgment, and maintain a reliable work schedule.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with marketing design and video-editing programs is preferred.
7. Ability to operate standard office and video-production equipment and prepare business correspondence and reports.
8. Comfort presenting information and responding to questions from employees, customers, managers, and community groups.
9. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
10. Valid driver’s license and ability to participate in occasional travel or events outside normal business hours.
