Job Description

Just imagine creating a single source of truth for marketing planning data that helps shape smarter investment decisions across the business. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Marketing Operations Manager, you'll join the LEGO® Group on a 12‑month contract and help ensure marketing planning data is accurate, reliable, and consistent across internal planning platforms and external media agency systems. You'll drive operational excellence, resolve integration and process issues, and act as a key link between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners. This is an opportunity to influence how marketing planning operates at scale while helping teams make confident, evidence-based decisions.

Please note that this is a 12-months cover role based in our LEGO Campus, Billund. No relocation assistance is offered.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered strong data governance and quality practices across business systems and processes.
  • Managed complex data processing activities to support reliable planning and reporting.
  • Built and maintained integrations using data integration technologies.
  • Led work with marketing planning systems or equivalent environments, ideally across multiple business units.
  • Applied data analytics to improve operational performance and decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Created data visualizations that helped stakeholders interpret and act on information.
  • Contributed to IT architecture discussions that supported data and system integration.
  • Applied marketing expertise within planning, operations, or investment-related environments.
  • Supported change management activities during process, system, or organisational transitions.

What you'll build

  • Act as the Marketing Operations liaison for the Marketing Digital Planning Product team.
  • Partner with Product and Digital Technology teams to provide business requirements and user insights.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality, integration, and system issues affecting marketing planning processes.
  • Establish, document, and continuously improve processes governing data flows and integrations.
  • Work closely with media operations teams and external media agencies to support effective system integrations and operational excellence.

If you've worked in a role where you managed marketing planning systems, supported data operations, and translated business needs into practical solutions, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to combine data expertise, operational thinking, and effective collaboration to deliver reliable outcomes.

Life on the team

You'll be part of Marketing Data Enablement & Operations within the MDIP team in Market & Channels. We help drive commercial and brand growth through clear, evidence-based recommendations and enable a holistic view of performance through data, digital tools, and AI. Our team is primarily based in Billund, while the wider MDIP team is global. We follow a flexible hybrid rhythm and value analytical thinking, confident use of digital tools, and strong stakeholder relationships.

What success looks like

Success means becoming a trusted partner for marketing operations and helping teams rely on accurate, connected planning data. You'll strengthen data quality and operational processes while navigating a period of marketing transformation and evolving data initiatives. You'll work closely with colleagues across MDIP, media operations, external media agencies, and digital product and technology teams to help shape the next phase of marketing planning capabilities.
