Key responsibilities
- Unload/Load trucks
- Verify quantity loading/unloading is accurate.
- Ensure paperwork and labelling is correct.
- Scan parts for receipt/delivery as required.
- Stage material for put away/pickup.
- Reviews assembly build requirements.
- Picks and stages parts for delivery to the production areas in such a manner that ensures that the correct quantity of the part is delivered to the correct place.
- Delivers material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versa.
- Provides support to the decant areas.
- Drives forklift or operates other power equipment to transport a variety of materials, parts, or products.
- Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations.
- Notifies supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies.
- Stacks materials in designated area.
- Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Communicate and enforce safe work procedures.
- Identify and close safety issues (suggestions, inspection and investigation findings) and their corrective actions.
- Understands and adheres to current quality and control policies.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What we’re looking for
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Licensed to operate forklift.
Must have previous experience in a warehouse environment.
Minimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Must be computer literate and have the ability to perform basic MS Windows / SAP operating tasks.
Attendance on the job is essential.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.
