Job Overview

Material Handler I assists in accurately handling inventory according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Materials team works together to receive, pick, pack, and ship product to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• •Ability to manage inventory, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
• •Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting inventory.
• •Basic problem-solving skills for handling discrepancies in orders or inventory.
• •Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• •Perform basic computer functions related to data entry.
• •Strong organizational skills for efficient space utilization and inventory management.
• •Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• •Must be cross-trained and able to support all Material Handler I roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent.
• •Operation of basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
• •Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
• •Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
• •Ability to follow blueprints.
• •Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• •Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).
