• The Role:
• Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Material Quality Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

The co-op will assist the Material Quality Engineering team to support production of gas filtration products for the semiconductor industry.

What You’ll Do:

• •Supplier quality data analysis and trending
• •Raw material root cause investigations
• •Implement corrective actions for quality issues both internally and at suppliers
• •Clear and concise technical communication with suppliers
• •Quality documentation and specification review
• •MOC tracking and administrative support
• •Audit preparation and follow-up actions
• •Supplier scorecard maintenance
• •Drawing and specification validation projects
• •Continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction and supplier performance

• What We Seek:
• •Exposure to engineering drawings and technical specifications
• •Experience with technical documentation and data organization
• •Basic data analysis experience (Excel, Minitab, or similar)

• •Analytical problem-solving skills
• •Effective communication and collaboration skills
• •Strong attention to detail

• Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
• Engineering area of study is desired. Best suited for Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering majors or similar.
• Graduation in 2027 or spring of 2028

• Eligibility:
• Must be a currently enrolled student
• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June
• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
