Medior AI Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Medior AI Developer based in South Africa.

As a Medior AI Developer, you’ll join a remote-first engineering team building modern, AI-enabled platforms used by real customers and internal teams. You’ll take well-defined features from roadmap to production, working primarily with C#/.NET, Azure Functions, and REST APIs. The role focuses on applied AI engineering, integrating technologies such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Microsoft Copilot into production applications. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers and a Product Owner while contributing to code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing. You’ll also help shape a major modernization programme as legacy business platforms move toward a modern Azure-native architecture. This is a hands-on development role focused on shipping new functionality rather than maintenance or business-as-usual support. The position follows a 09:00–18:00 CEST working schedule.
