Responsibilities:

• •Design, support, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems for the testbed environment
• •Development of IT solutions for technical challenges including implementation, consulting internal stakeholders about technological solutions, and defining scopes of service
• •DevOps for testbed and user-specific applications throughout the complete lifecycle
• •Troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues
• •Software change management, e.g., GitLab

What we are looking for:

• •A university degree in computer science or a comparable technical subject
• •Professional experience as a Linux server administrator; experience with virtualisation and backup systems is desirable
• •Required: programming knowledge in C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, and experience working with SQL databases (MySQL)
• •Strong commitment and willingness to perform, flexibility and reliability, a careful and responsible working style as well as strong teamwork skills
• •Good verbal and written skills in both German and English
