Non-QM Underwriter

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Non-QM Underwriter based in the United States.

• This role is responsible for evaluating complex Non-QM mortgage transactions with a strong focus on credit quality, compliance, and risk management.
• You’ll review borrower profiles, income documentation, collateral, title, appraisals, and other supporting documentation to determine loan eligibility.
• The position requires advanced judgment when working with self-employed borrowers, alternative income sources, complex properties, and non-standard loan scenarios.
• You’ll manage a high-volume pipeline while maintaining accuracy, quality standards, and contractual turnaround times.
• Close collaboration with processors, loan officers, account managers, clients, and internal teams will be essential to moving files efficiently toward final approval.
• You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where independent decision-making, regulatory knowledge, and attention to detail are highly valued.
