Occupational Therapist

• Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Occupational Therapist – Project Role (Single-Handed Care) for its client at The Portal, Ellesmere Port.
• Our client is launching a targeted initiative to reduce double-handed care packages and is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to lead this impactful project. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in single-handed care and make a meaningful difference to service delivery and outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be?

Lead on complex single-handed care cases, targeting packages currently requiring double-handed carers.

Conduct detailed assessments and develop tailored intervention plans to promote independence.

Recommend and implement appropriate equipment and adaptations to reduce care input.

Collaborate with care providers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective transitions.

Provide expert advice and training to colleagues and carers on single-handed care techniques.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to project reporting and evaluation.

Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote person-centred care.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Extensive experience in single-handed care and manual handling

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
