Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is recruiting Occupational Therapist for its client's Local Authority Team at Swindon.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Local Authority setting, supporting adults to maximise their independence, safety and quality of life through high-quality Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.

What will your responsibilities be?

Complete comprehensive Occupational Therapy and functional assessments for adults in the community

Assess individuals' ability to complete activities of daily living and identify risks and barriers to independence

Recommend and prescribe appropriate equipment, minor adaptations and assistive technology

Complete moving and handling assessments and provide recommendations to promote safe transfers and mobility

Work collaboratively with service users, carers, Social Workers, care providers and wider multidisciplinary teams

Contribute to care and support planning, risk management and discharge planning where required

Manage a varied caseload effectively while maintaining accurate and timely records

Apply person-centred, strengths-based practice to promote independence and enable people to remain safely within their own homes

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

Eligible to work in the UK

Hold a full UK driving licence

Post-qualified experience

HCPC-registered

Occupational Therapy Degree/Diploma

Paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
