- Reading specifications and using specialized IT programs to design and calculating the tools.
- Constructing and repairing tools, gauges, intricate fixtures with synchronizing parts, gauges, etc..
- Assisting in initial ramp-up procedures for new tools, in testing and analyzing dysfunctionalities.

- Provides setup and maintenance procedures for an assigned part of production, with a limited number and kind of machines.
- Supports higher-level technical maintenance and repairs technicians in their work.
- Follows work instructions, maintenance and repair procedures as given to provide reliable service.
