Operating Room Technician – Labor and Delivery -Part Time – Night Shift

Join our high-profile team, and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures (e.g., bariatric, robotic, and ENT). You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. This is a part time, night shift position covering the hours of 11 :00pm – 11 :00am at NewYork -Presbyterian Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station .

Preferred Criteria

Prior experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting

Required Criteria

Certif ication as a Surgical Technologist by the Association of Surgical Technlogist or Surgical Technician by the National Board of Surgical Techn ician and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) - Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Must supply exam date prior to start of employment and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire

Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as an O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting

High school diploma or GED
