Operations Assistant NF-02

Summary

This position is located at Road Runner Lanes Bowling Center, White Sands Missile Range, NM. Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor. (AR 215-3 2-5). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Duties

• •Monitors operations and personnel performance to ensure smooth running of daily facility procedures as well as special events/activities.
• •Enforces operational standards by ensuring staff follow established schedules, training requirements, and certifications are up to date in accordance with regulations.
• •Conducts inventory checks in accordance with facility policies, place and receive food and beverage orders for the facility, completes Daily Activity Reports.
• •Attends to customer orders and ensures guest satisfaction.
• •Operates a cash register as well as assisting in the kitchen and with leagues and open bowling as needed. May serve alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer orders.
• •Provides information to customers on services offered and assists with marketing efforts. Performs opening/closing procedures for the facility.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and/or supporting documents. A copy of all documents must be submitted at the time of application. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Best Qualified": Must have a minimum of 1 year experience working within a food and beverage establishment. Applicants that meet the "Best Qualified" criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others may be referred if management does not make a selection from the best qualified list.
