Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – US Logistics with strong knowledge of the US trucking industry . The role will primarily focus on building relationships with US trucking companies, sourcing trucks for loads, coordinating with dispatchers and drivers, and ensuring successful load booking.

Key Responsibilities

• •Reach out to US-based trucking companies, carriers, owner-operators, and fleet owners to introduce our services and build business relationships.
• •Develop and maintain a strong network of trucking companies and dispatchers .
• •Identify and source suitable trucks based on load requirements.
• •Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers for truck availability and load booking.
• •Collect and verify MC numbers and carrier details required for load booking.
• •Coordinate with carriers regarding loads, lanes, equipment, pickup/delivery schedules, and driver availability .
• •Maintain regular follow-ups with trucking companies and dispatchers to ensure continuous truck availability.
• •Resolve operational issues related to truck sourcing, dispatch, drivers, and load booking .
• •Maintain an updated database of carriers, MC numbers, dispatchers, and trucking contacts.
• •Track daily outreach, truck sourcing, and load-booking activities and share operational updates with management. Improve operational processes and efficiency.
• •Manage day-to-day logistics operations and ensure timely completion of daily tasks.
• •Monitor operational performance and daily targets. Identify operational issues and implement solutions.
• •Monitor service quality and process compliance and prepare daily / weekly operational reports.
• •Handle customer escalations when required.
• •Ensure company policies are followed.

Required Skills & Experience

• •3+ years of experience in US Logistics, Trucking, Freight, or Dispatch Operations.
• •Strong understanding of the US trucking and carrier ecosystem .
• •Good existing connections with US trucking companies, carriers, or dispatchers will be highly preferred.
• •Hands-on experience in truck sourcing and load booking .
• •Good knowledge of MC numbers, drivers, equipment, dispatch processes, and US trucking operations .
• •Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
• •Comfortable with cold calling and communicating with US-based trucking companies .
• •Ability to work according to US business hours/night shifts , as required.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
• •3+ years of relevant US Logistics/Trucking experience.
