Packaging Operator - 10pm-6:30am

Responsible for general assembly tasks associated with the packaging of quality cheese products.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• •Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the appropriate production line
• •Perform manual packaging tasks such as bagging/wrapping/labeling/boxing/palletizing
• •Restock packaging materials into machines such as boxes/tape/glue/film
• •Monitor production flow, remove bad product as needed and potentially reapply it to the line
• •Ensure documentation performed is in accordance with policies and procedures
• •Ensure product quality through multiple inspections/tests and documentation of those activities
• •Set up, adjust, monitor and perform general operating maintenance on production equipment
• •Report noncompliance of production issues to the leadership teams
• •Validate ingredients and material used in the production process
• •Ensure paperwork and inventory systems transactions are accurately completed and performed in a timely manner
• •Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
• •Other duties as assigned

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

• •High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• •Ability to read and understand instructions.
• •Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• •Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
• •Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• •Requires regular attendance.
• •Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• •Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
• •Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
