Description
Dizzion is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Partner Account Executive (PAE) to drive new business and revenue growth through Dizzion's strategic channel ecosystem. This is a sales role focused on building strong partner relationships, generating qualified pipeline, and leading opportunities from initial partner engagement through close.
The PAE will work closely with strategic VARs, MSPs, technology solution brokers, sales agents, and other channel partners to identify customer needs, create opportunities, and position Dizzion's solutions to solve complex technology and business challenges. The role requires a strong sales mindset, technical curiosity, and the ability to build credibility with both partner sellers and their customers.
This is not a traditional account management role. While the PAE will help support the success of partner relationships and expansion opportunities, the primary focus is new business generation, pipeline development, sales execution, and revenue attainment through the channel.
The ideal candidate is a proven technology seller who knows how to earn partner mindshare, create demand, navigate complex sales cycles, and close business. Direct DaaS or digital workspace experience is valuable, but strong enterprise technology sales experience and the ability to quickly learn new technologies are equally important.
Responsibilities
Channel Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive new business revenue through assigned strategic channel partners.
- Own the sales cycle from partner lead registration and opportunity development through negotiation and close.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market penetration through the partner ecosystem.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Build a healthy pipeline of qualified partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities.
- Identify opportunities within existing partner relationships while continually developing new partner relationships and sources of pipeline.
Partner Relationship Development
- Build trusted, productive relationships with partner sales leadership, account executives, sales engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Earn partner mindshare and establish Dizzion as a preferred solution for relevant customer opportunities.
- Understand each partner's business, customer base, sales motion, and areas of specialization.
- Develop joint business and sales plans with strategic partners.
- Conduct regular partner meetings and business reviews focused on pipeline, opportunities, and revenue growth.
- Identify ways to increase partner engagement and create more opportunities for Dizzion.
Pipeline Development & Opportunity Creation
- Proactively work with partners to identify prospective customers, use cases, and business challenges that align with Dizzion's solutions.
- Support partner-led prospecting and customer outreach initiatives.
- Help partners qualify opportunities and determine where Dizzion can add meaningful value.
- Develop opportunities from early-stage discovery through technical validation, commercial discussions, and close.
- Participate in joint customer meetings, discovery calls, presentations, and executive conversations.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity stages, activities, and forecasts in Salesforce.
Partner Enablement
- Educate partner sales and technical teams on Dizzion's solutions, positioning, competitive advantages, and ideal customer profile.
- Provide partners with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to confidently identify and sell Dizzion opportunities.
- Conduct sales enablement sessions, product overviews, and opportunity-focused training.
- Work with Marketing to support partner campaigns, events, and demand-generation activities.
- Identify gaps in partner knowledge or engagement and develop strategies to address them.
Sales Execution
- Lead consultative discovery with partners and customers to understand business, technical, and operational challenges.
- Translate Dizzion's technology into clear business value for both technical and executive audiences.
- Work closely with Sales Engineering to develop solutions and guide technical validation.
- Coordinate internal resources throughout the sales cycle to maintain momentum and accountability.
- Support proposals, pricing discussions, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up and communication throughout the sales process.
- Use established sales methodologies and qualification practices to prioritize high-value opportunities.
Performance & Forecasting
- Own channel pipeline reporting and forecasting for assigned partners.
- Track partner activity, opportunity progression, conversion rates, revenue, and other channel performance metrics.
- Analyze partner performance to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
- Establish clear actions and follow-up plans for underperforming partners or pipeline areas.
- Provide leadership with accurate visibility into channel performance, risks, and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Channel Leadership, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations to support channel revenue growth.
- Bring partner and customer feedback back to internal teams to inform product, positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
- Coordinate internal teams around active opportunities and ensure clear ownership and timely execution.
Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management on expansion opportunities when appropriate, while maintaining clear ownership of the sales motion.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of successful technology sales, channel sales, partner sales, or business development experience.
- Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Demonstrated success generating pipeline and closing complex technology sales.
- Experience selling through or alongside VARs, MSPs, technology solution brokers, sales agents, distributors, or strategic technology partners.
- Strong understanding of indirect sales motions and how to influence partner sellers to generate business.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility with partner and customer leadership.
- Excellent prospecting, discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Strong CRM discipline and experience managing pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce or a similar platform.
- Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly understand and sell cloud-based technology solutions.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling DaaS, Digital Workspace, EUC, VDI, Cloud PC, or related technology solutions.
- Experience with Omnissa Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud infrastructure technologies.
- Existing relationships with strategic VARs, MSPs, sales agents, technology solution brokerages, or alliance partners.
- Experience consistently managing $2M+ annual sales quotas.
- Experience with MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar sales methodologies.
- Experience selling into healthcare, financial services, insurance, contact centers, BPO, or other regulated industries.
- Experience working in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means Dizzion is gaining meaningful mindshare within the partner ecosystem and those relationships are consistently producing qualified opportunities and revenue.
The PAE should be able to:
- Build strong enough partner relationships that sellers proactively bring Dizzion into relevant opportunities.
- Create pipeline rather than waiting for partners to hand over leads.
- Move opportunities forward with urgency and
