As a Patient Access Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring patients have a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive or call our office. What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• •Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone.
• •Register patients accurately by collecting demographic, insurance, and visit information.
• •Verify insurance eligibility, Medicare compliance, and patient benefits before appointments.
• •Pre-register patients and discuss insurance benefits and financial responsibilities with confidence and compassion.
• •Calculate patient responsibility estimates and collect point-of-service payments while explaining payment expectations and available payment options.
• •Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
• •Utilize patient access and registration software to support efficient office operations.
• •Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations related to patient access services.
• •Complete ongoing education and training requirements.
• •Support the team by performing additional administrative duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Preferred Qualifications:

• •High school diploma or equivalent.
• •Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• •Knowledge of medical terminology.
• •Strong computer and data entry skills.
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• •Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• •A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
