Payroll Analyst

As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for solving Payroll issues, stemming from restaurant team members, managers, and Support Center staff globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Audit, review, and reconcile Restaurant, International and Support Center payrolls on a weekly basis
• •Distribute weekly audit reports to Payroll Specialists & Coordinators
• •Assist in the training of Payroll Specialists & Coordinators
• •Maintain a high level of customer service through timely response to emails and tickets
• •Execute all payroll processes while complying with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• •Run and analyze payroll audits & reporting
• •Process end to end payroll while coordinating with team members globally
• •Process complex off-cycle payments (Reversals, Overpayments, Duplicate Employee Merges)
• •Assist with research and resolution of payroll related matters
• •Document and maintain best practices for payroll processing and implement new procedures as needed
• •Act as Payroll subject matter expertise across payroll processes and payroll compliance
• •Maintain documentation and SOPs for all payroll processes
• •Execute end to end Payroll testing
• •Support international payroll processing
• •Support Payroll tax processes
• •Maintain a high level of confidentiality for all payroll/HR-related items
• •Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests
• •Work closely with HR and business teams, including but not limited to Benefits, Compliance, HR Transformation, Organization, Change Management, Operations, Accounting and Finance
• •Complete ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned by leadership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• •High school diploma or GED required
• •Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
• •Payroll processing experience required
• •Experience with Workday preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• •Strong computer skills
• •Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• •Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• •Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• •Ability to use sound judgement and maintain confidentiality of information
• •Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented culture and meets critical deadlines
• •Ability to work in a highly structured team environment
• •Ability to maintain strict adherence to outlined procedures
• •Ability to have a flexible work schedule due to work volume fluctuations
