Hours: 3p - 11p weekdays

7p - 7a weekends (every other weekend)

Highland Hills Retirement Village is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. As a PCA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain dignity, comfort, and a high quality of life in a warm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• •Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting their overall well-being.
• •Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
• •Monitor and report any changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs to nursing staff.
• •Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• •Follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other staff.
• •Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols.
• •Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and organizing residents' living spaces.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• •High school diploma or GED preferred.
• •Certification as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) , Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , or relevant experience in caregiving preferred.
• •Previous experience in a senior living, assisted living, or healthcare setting is a plus.
• •Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• •Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
• •Must pass background checks and drug screening as required.
