Pharmacist Per Diem Weekends

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 -

• Performs duties in the Hospital Pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medication
• according to departmental policies and procedures for patients spanning all age groups and cultures. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• •Excellent verbal/written skills.
• •Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for the age served patients.
• •Demonstrates ability to interpret and assess clinical date necessary to provide care for the age of patients served.
• •Must be computer literate.
• •Must be familiar with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• •Hospital experience required.
• •Knowledge of USP 797, 800 regulations and processes.
• •Positive interpersonal communication skills.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor of Science/PharmD in Pharmacy from accredited school of pharmacy.

License/Certification:

Current license by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.

Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.

Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: $54.31-$85.40 -

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
