Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Lead Phlebotomist dedicated to making a positive difference. Your impact as a Lead Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team as a lead in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, most days you'll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you'll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Pay: $31.25 - $32.25 per hour

Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you'll get to

• •Function as an operational lead, supporting staff with interviewing and phlebotomy processes, and providing coaching when needed.
• •Serve as the primary point of contact for blood drive coordinators on-site
• •Coordinate the set up and breakdown of equipment for mobile blood drives.
• •Ensure the comfort and information of blood donors during phlebotomy process.
• •Assist the Manager or Supervisor in providing direction and/or supervision of Donor Care Technicians, providing input for employee performance evaluations.
• •Drive company vehicles including vans, buses to drive sites
• •High School Diploma or GED
• •Active driver's license with a clean driving record
• •Ability to complete and pass CDL license program
• •Ability to travel as required
• •Successful completion of supervisory training program within six months
• •Two years phlebotomy experience preferred
