Work Shift
Wellstar Medical Group is seeking BC/BE Trauma Acute Care Surgeons to join our busy, collegial team trauma team at Kennestone.
Level 1 trauma center located in Marietta, just Northwest of Atlanta.
- Busiest Emergency department in the state.
- GME surgery residency program and teaching opportunities.
- Approximately 15% penetrative trauma
- Seasoned trauma program with large group comprised of 12 physicians, APPs, responsible for covering trauma, surgical critical care for trauma patients and acute care surgery.
- Flexible call schedule, in house trauma/EGS call requirement of 7 24-hour calls per month (or 14 12's).
ICU week in rotation shared equally between partners.
- Backup call schedule shared equally between partners.

Ideal candidates will have trained at level 1 or busy level 2 trauma centers and preferably done a 2 year fellowship program or have experience
