Key Responsibilities
Lean Logistics & 5S: Support implementation of 5S initiatives, layout design, and ergonomics across internal logistics, receiving, and shipping areas.
Process Mapping (VSM): Assist in mapping internal material flows (Value Stream Mapping) to identify line-side supply bottlenecks, excess movement, and operational waste.
Kaizen & Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen workshops, Root Cause Analyses (5 Whys / Ishikawa), and QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) projects to resolve supply chain deviations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Track, analyze, and report logistics KPIs (such as line stop risk, cycle times, inventory accuracy, and space utilization).
Standard Operating Procedures: Help create and update Standard Work Instructions and operational SOPs for warehouse operators and material handlers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Active student status with valid university health insurance).
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Kanban, Just-In-Time) and supply chain processes.
Data Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, Pivot Tables); knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or CAD software is a plus.
Soft Skills: High problem-solving capacity, strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work on the shop floor alongside cross-functional teams.
