Job Overview

The role sits within the Research & Intelligence (R&I) team, which specializes in delivering integrated market research solutions by combining Primary Market Research (PMR) with Secondary Desk Research (SDR) to generate actionable insights for clients. The team leverages multiple data sources, advanced research methodologies, and leading-edge PMR capabilities to provide a holistic understanding of markets, stakeholders, and evolving healthcare landscapes.

Essential Functions

• •Lead the execution of quantitative Primary Market Research (PMR) projects, including ATUs, demand estimation, market assessments, patient journey/patient flow studies, segmentation, pricing and messaging research, and other strategic research initiatives, across multiple therapy areas, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
• •Independently design and refine questionnaires, discussion guides, and research instruments, translating client business objectives into robust research methodologies and actionable learning plans
• •Drive the analytical workstream, including data validation, tabulation review, open-end coding oversight, table specification development, advanced data interpretation, and synthesis of key insights, ensuring analytical rigor and business relevance
• •Develop compelling, insight-driven client deliverables by translating complex research findings into clear business narratives, strategic implications, and actionable recommendations that address key client objectives.
• •Manage day-to-day stakeholder interactions, including project updates, status calls, research discussions, and issue resolution, while building strong working relationships and ensuring a positive client experience. Support stakeholder in client communication
• •Own project governance and delivery excellence by overseeing timelines, risks, quality control processes, and resource coordination, ensuring all deliverables meet IQVIA quality standards and are client-ready
• •Mentor and provide guidance to Associate Consultants and Analysts, reviewing their work, supporting capability development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance
• •Demonstrate strong consulting and problem-solving skills by contributing to study design, hypothesis generation, insight generation, and strategic recommendations that help clients make informed business decisions
• •Act as a proactive individual contributor, managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision while driving operational efficiency, innovation, and best practices across engagements
• •Demonstrate flexibility and curiosity to work across a broad range of sectors within the Healthcare industry, including Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, and Healthcare Services, developing a strong understanding of industry trends and business challenges
• •Contribute to business growth through support of proposal development, capability presentations, thought leadership initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities, helping strengthen the team's market research capabilities and client relationships.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences; MBA preferred
• •4–8 years of experience in PMR. Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with experience in consulting and market research within the pharmaceutical domain

• •Experience/ academic background for sectors encompassing HealthCare industry (Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and Healthcare services)
• •Experienced with quantitative PMR research and on a variety of therapy areas
• •High skills of interpretation and analysis (quantitative, qualitative and integration of different sources of data assets)
• •Ability to understand the link between client needs, data and its application
• •Experience in designing/ developing questionnaire and discussion guide as per client’s objective
• •Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
• •Good innovative thinking abilities and solution-oriented approach to work
• •Should be very comfortable with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
• •Ability to guide junior team members effectively
