Meet the team:
The Sensor Process Development team has global responsibility for supporting sensor development and manufacturing activities across the organization. As part of the Operations team, this group drives process modernization and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sensor safety, accuracy, and reliability, ultimately delivering positive outcomes for users every day.
The team brings together expertise across a broad range of technical disciplines and experience levels, fostering a highly collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving. This role will support key technical projects related to sensor process development, providing subject matter expertise in process design and a deep understanding of how manufacturing processes influence sensor performance.
Where you come in:
- You will design and execute experiments to evaluate sensor manufacturing inputs and outputs, developing robust process controls that ensure sensor accuracy, quality, and reliability.
- You have hands on experience leading the execution of Design of Experiments (DOE) studies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing and product issues.
- You will collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, effectively communicating insights and recommendations to diverse technical and business audiences.
- You will drive technical understanding of sensor manufacturing processes.
- You will support areas such as root cause analysis, failure mode investigations, and corrective action development.
- You will apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing reliability.
- You will support global manufacturing operations by reducing scrap, improving productivity, increasing yields, and driving gross margin improvements across all manufacturing facilities.

What makes you successful:
You have a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant experience in the medical device, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.
You have experience in process development, including strong proficiency in experimental design and the application of statistical methods to drive data-based decision making.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deconstruct complex challenges, identify critical variables, and determine key relationships and trends.
You have proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while addressing technically complex and demanding problems.
You have effective communicator with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences, including cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
You have excellent technical writing skills, with experience authoring technical reports, study protocols, test methods, and experimental plans.
You have demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and competing demands while maintaining high-quality deliverables in a dynamic work environment.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience.
