Pay

$32.83 - $38.29 / hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Plus shift differential of $1.00 / hour for any hours worked on 2nd Shift

Schedule

2nd Shift (Sunday – Thursday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)

Onsite; other days and hours as needed

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Process Mechanic to join our Maintenance team.

• •Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all equipment necessary to the manufacturing function in process area
• •Perform other related duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• •Working knowledge and thorough understanding of pneumatics, power transmissions (chain drives, e.g.), pumps, valves and bearing application
• •Technical maintenance training
• •Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical equipment issues
• •Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings
• •Accurate measuring ability
• •Ability to furnish personal tools as required on the Process Mechanic tool list
• •Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles

Preferred Qualifications

• •Sketching ability
• •Four years of industrial maintenance experience
• •Experience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee Foods
• •Hydraulics experience
• •Ability to obtain and maintain an L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license
• •Electrical training at a technical school
• •Basic welding and fabrication
• •Basic machine shop
